Crews Snowman Song

When Crew saw that I was recording him he did not sing as much as he normally does and not as loud as he normally does :( BUT he is still being super cute and I have to share this cause I just love him so much! He seriously asks for snowman show all day every day. We watch it when he wakes up in the morning until we go to day care (about 20-30 mins) and then when he wakes up from naps until Bampa comes home and gets to watch his show. I have tried and tried to get him to watch a different show but he cries the ugly cry until I put snowman in. This kid is in love and even tells me how much he loves Elsa! I can't even tell you how much I love him an how much I think he is ADORABLE! I hope you enjoy this as much as I do

Happenings

Crew's new favorite thing to do is watch Frozen. And he loves to watch it ALL day! He sings the songs, and will talk along with the show. It sure is cute! This is how he likes to watch his snowman show.

He was not acting like himself a few days ago and I thought he was getting an ear infection. He had had a cough for about 2 1/2 weeks and I said enough is enough so I took him in to see what was up. Well the Dr. said that there was no ear infection, and the strep test came back negative, and was not sure what was up so she sent us to get a chest x-ray. Well the x-ray came back and he has a mix of bronchitis and pneumonia. He has been such a good sport!! He has been coughing soo hard that he will throw up and he still is so tough! I am so glad that his meds are kicking in so fast and are strong! I love modern day medicine.
I have also started a new job about 3 weeks ago. It is at Northwest Power Services, Inc. in Rigby. I am a bookkeeper and secretary. It is a lot of fun and just what I need!! It is part time. which is great cause I am still able to be a mom to Crew which I Love! It is at a very quiet and slow paced place and perfect! I could not have asked for a better place. The Lord has truly been watching over Crew and I and I am very grateful for that. I know more wonderful and great things are coming our way and I can not wait for them! For now I am happy and excited to watch Crew grow and enjoy the summer and learn the new things that I will at this new job, and whatever else the Lord has in store for us!

Bubba

My little fella is SUCH a cheeser! I love his face when I get the camera out. This is him in his wonderful new Duck Dynasty shirt. I was at Wal-Mart and they had 50% off there clearance which is amazing!! SO Crew got some new shirts which were needed. He is now in 3T shirts for the length and 2T pants cause he is kinda short in the legs. BUT he could use the 3T in the belly for the pants ;) The dr. has said that he is normal in all areas and is not worried, he is just VERY solid! He has also said that he is very advanced for his age with his speech and learning (that makes me one happy, proud mama!)
He had some cousins over the other night and they were playing dress up. This is what I was able to catch on camera (LOVE the smile!) I was not fast enough to get a picture of him with the adorable dress on ;) maybe next time!

Crew being Crew

Crew has changed in the little time since he has turned 2. I just can't believe it. Here he is being so cute watching his show with Kaden, and they are actually being nice to each other.
Dan gave Crew these cute little sun glasses for his birthday and he is just super cute wearing them. He wore them all over the house for a few days. I am surprised that he did not break them!

Crew keeps going back to the shoe basket and gets my new boots and wants to put them on. I have put them on and then he tries to walk and they are just too tall for him and he can't. He is just super cute in them, I had to get a picture of him.

He has been asking me to go potty every time I change his diaper. I tried to let him go 4-5 times and he would just stand there and laugh and dance and sing a song saying shake your booty! Man I love this kid, and don't know where he came from!! ;) He finally went and has gone 3 times now! I can't believe that he is 2 and is already wanting to potty train. I don't think he will be fully trained for a few more months, but this is a really good start. I am super in love with this fella I have here.

I have decided that with work that even if I work full time I can not afford to move out so I am going to stay part time. Crew has not been doing very well with the full time hours either. I think that it is very much worth it to raise my boy than to have monies in the bank or pay my car off early or what ever. It is just not worth it to me. I have been getting the impression as well that I should stay living with my parents as long as they will have us. I am super excited that at least this part of my life is going good!! Crew and I are doing great as well, the only thing that could go better is my dating life :D But I am coming to terms that it will happen and it will happen on the Lords timing.

Crew is 2

My little man is going to be 2 on Feb. 3. We decided to throw his party on Saturday instead of Monday. He had so much fun opening his presents and LOVED blowing out his candle on the cake. He got lots of presents including Monsters jammies, and Monsters Inc. (now I won't have to watch Monsters University every morning, I can switch it up every day, since it is what he requests!!) He got some cars with a track, Mickey Mouse's house, a castle with army men and a dragon from Bampa and Grammy, and lots of things from aunts, uncles, and cousins!!
He had such a great turn out from all of our family which is amazing! Lacey said she was going to mail a package but when Crew woke up from his nap he found 4 cousins here from Utah!! It was such a great surprise. We also had Eliah, Maddie, Aubrey, Marcus, Kaden, Angie, Bampa, Grammy, and Emily. Thank you so much for all of your love and support!
Crew was with me when I picked up his cake and was wanting it all day long, we waited until after dinner just like every Birthday. He had so much fun today.

I love this little fella SO much. He is so so stinking smart. He can talk in complete sentences, knows his ABC's and will not let me sing it with him, he can count to 10. I love having conversations with him, he is SO funny and comes up with so many funny strange things. I laugh so much with him. He loves to go to "work" the daycare and see all of his friends. He loves to dance and has some pretty sweet moves! He still will eat pretty much anything but veggies. His favorite thing in the world is the Temple and loves to drive by it. He knows that Angel Moroni is on top, and that it is Heavenly Fathers house. He gets so excited every time he sees a picture of when I drive by. I am so grateful that I get to be his mommy forever! I still can't believe that he is 2, time has just gone too fast!

Funnies

Mom was SO funny this year for Christmas. She got Dad ALL of the Twlight's. Dad is always asking who has seen them and who has not because they are SOO good. I made sure that I had the camera ready to capture the amazing pictures. He thought it was funny and we have already watched 2 of them :) I sure love dad, and think that mom is amazing for thinking about this!

We had the opportunity to visit Grandma Levitt today. We had everyone but Aubrey there. She seems to be doing really good. She was walking really good all by herself, and she recited a poem from memory that she wrote. It was a lot of fun to see her and catch up. I sure love this lady!

Christmas

Crew and Kaden thought that it would be fun to help Grammy and Emmy set up the Christmas tree this year. Well they were right! It was SO much fun to help. They were able to help with the ornaments as well. I am so glad that Crew is getting a little older, he was able to enjoy Christmas more this year with opening presents and enjoying what was inside. I had a blast with him and did not even really care what I got or what was going on, I was so focused on him and what he was doing and making sure he was having the best time that he could. I can not wait for more Christmases, and Birthdays! I know that means that he will be older, but it will be worth it!

Crew got some really good presents this year. Santa brought him a train set that he loves. He makes the cutest noise for his trains! He got a ninja turtle camera that shows pictures of turtles when he takes pictures, he got some new "shows" to watch, he got an amazing Disney sound track to listen to in the car, and best of all Bampa and Grammy got him a HUGE mickey mouse that he carries around everywhere. He likes to give him to me and makes me snuggle all of the time too ;)

I think that we had a great Christmas. I stressed WAY too much over what to get him and I hope that I won't do it in the future. He enjoyed opening whatever was wrapped, and would have probably been just fine with boxes with more paper inside :) I can't wait for him to get older and for us to become even better buddies. I am glad he had such a great day

Prayers

This sweet amazing little boy has a hold of my heart! I am so much in love with him. He does and says new things each day that make me smile and laugh. I can not tell you how grateful I am to have his sweet spirit in my life. I have been praying that as his Mom I will be able to teach him the correct principles of the gospel and that he will be able to learn the things of the world as well. (Math, Science, English etc.) There are some days I wonder if I am getting through to him at all, but in the end I know that he hears me and understands me by the way he acts and the things he knows.

As we went down for bed tonight and started our nightly routine it seemed like it was just another night. We got his blankies, and teddy, and I started singing the family song , by request (Family's can be together Forever) I started to say prayers just like any other night and tonight he started saying it with me. Sometimes he will say Heavenly Father, but has never said the entire prayer with me. He even beat me to Amen. I was amazed at how much he knew and understood. I wanted to cry, clap and shout for joy all at the same time. It makes me so happy to know that I am doing something right as a Mom. All I want is for him to be happy and healthy.

Now my next step is to continue his learning and knowledge in the gospel so he will have that knowledge when he enters school, and has set friends and any other situations. I am sure it won't be long before he is 8 and will be able to make the decision if he would like to be baptized, and even the decision about the priesthood and his mission. It has almost been 2 years since Crew has been born and the time has just flown by! I can't even imagine or think about him leaving and going on a mission!! I cried the other day when we sang I hope they call me on a mission in sharing time (how sad am I?)

Potato eatin FreaK

This is my AMAZING little boy! He LOVES him some potatoes, I think he would have gotten along with Grandpa Meikle pretty well ;) He would not mind if there were potatoes on his plate for each meal. He takes 1 bite and then asks for more tatoes please. Tonight was the first night he sucked them off of his plate. He thought that he was pretty funny, and I would have to agree! I sure LOVE this boy and his amazing personality and the new things he comes up with each and every day!!

Campout Buddies

I bought this pop up tent a few months back and have just been needing to clean it...well it was the perfect opportunity the other day when Crew and Kaden were using the living room rug for a tent. I got this picture with the flash on and tried to get more with the flash off but they were done with pictures. I still think they are pretty cute!
