Well we went in today to the baby Dr. I was excited cause they have not checked me in 2 weeks and I wanted to see how things have been going. Last time I was not even starting to budge. Well this time I still have not even started to budge! The good news is that he is in the right position so we will just have to be patient with him (I am trying very hard to do this!! It is kinda hard right now) They also said that my blood pressure is high and my feet and ankles are looking pretty swollen. They took some blood and want me to go back on Friday (2 days) to see if anything has improved. They think that I might get Pre-eclampsia. So they want to make sure that they are keeping an eye on me. They also said that I am on "bed rest" until my appt. I just need to relax and keep my feet up as much as I can. I think that I just might be able to do that ;)
Well on another note. I woke up on Sunday with a very sore throat. It was hard to swallow and even sing in church and got worse throughout the day. I just thought that I was getting a cold and made 2 things of orange juice and drank them right on up. Well I woke up on Monday and had the sniffils too. It did not get all that bad UNTIL I woke up on Tues. I woke up with my eyes glued shut with crusties and goobers. I know sick right?!? My throat was not all that bad and my nose was kinda stuffy. I told Dan that I thought I might have pink eye and that I wanted to get in just in case Crew comes, I don't want any chance of him getting sick! So I went in to my normal Dr. since he was not in I saw his P.A. not the normal one that is usually there but a new one, and older lady that really did not seem to know what she was doing. BUT me being the person that I am I trust her cause she is the Dr. and went to school and I am just the patient. DON'T worry I learned my lesson!! She looked at my throat, nose, and ears and said that I just have a sinus infection and here are some antibiotics. I had to remind here to look at my eyes and she said they are just a little swollen cause of the sinus infection.
So I go to the pharmacy and get my rx and head home. I made sure to take one on the way home to get it in my system. Well about and hour or so later I was home a bent down to get something and my ear popped and started to KILL me. It was so very painful that I was bawling like really hard. I thought that I had burst the drum or something. SO Dan and I went into the Urgent Care to see if they had anything else to say. By this point my eyes are all goobery and I am pulling green boogers out constantly. There are so many that my vision is blurry! Still sick I know. Well we get there and they take a quick peak in my ear and said um yeah you have a really bad ear infection, nothing is burst just really infected. They gave me some numbing drops and said it will just take time. So we make another trip to the pharmacy, Dan had to run in cause I will still in so much pain that I was crying. He got back and I put some in my ear and it was almost an instant relief!
At this point I am wondering how on earth could the 1st. Dr. have missed this. You don't get an ear infection in an hour. As the day goes on my eyes are worse, they are puffing up, pink, painful to touch, and still have crap coming out like crazy! I just tell myself that I am on the meds and they will clear up soon. Well I woke up on Wed. With my eyes horrible and a dry cough. So now I am asking myself if these pills are really going to do anything and if so when are they going to start kicking in??? Today has been a very hard long day and let me tell you being 38 1/2 pregnant and blowing your nose and coughing constantly is not something that I would recommend. It is very painful and the baby really gets upset! I am very suprized that I have not coughed myself into labor yet! I guess there is still time. tomorrow we will have only 10 days left. That is if this little bugger cooperates!
Sorry for the long post, I just had to vent a little and see if this made me feel any better.....I does a little bit but my eyes are still too blurry for me to get excited. OH and I forgot to say that I called the 1st. Dr. and talked to their billing and told them that I want a discount or not even pay the bill at all cause she missed SO many things. They said that I came into the office and took up the P.A.'s time and she took the time to see me. If I would not have come in then she would have been able to see someone else. They said that there is nothing they can do cause I was the one that came in and saw the Dr. Man was I UPSET at that, and that will not be the last they hear from me. I had to go in to another Dr. and now will have 2 bills! I really don't like stupid mean people!

That sounds awful! A similar thing happened to me when I had my first miscarriage. I went to the doc first and they took a blood test and checked me, and then they sent me to the hopsital to get an ultrasound. Then I was emitted to the E.R. (they thought it was eptopic) and when I was in the E.R. they called the doc to get the results from the blood test and the doc office said they didn't do one...I was like "hello, I have the hole in my arm from the needle!!" So we had to wait in the ER for the results of another blood test. And every minute in the ER is like 100 bucks (maybe not that much, but a lot). So we later complained to the doc and said that we weren't going to pay for their blood test and they said there was nothing they could do. Doctors really suck sometimes. Anyway, there is my venting for the day. :) Your baby is beautiful and I hope you are feeling better now. :)
