Flower Headbands

I have 4 pepople that I know that are having or have had little girls, and I LOVE little girls, so I decided that I was going to make some flower headbands. They were every super simple. here is the supplies that you need:
: Flowers of any kind
: alligator clips
: hot glue gun
: tights (I got mine from my sister's DI pile and they were on clearance for $.74 so this is something that can be done for super cheap and each pair can make 2 headbands)

First you start off by seperating the flowers from the greens and fit them into the top of the alligator clips. Then you hot glue it just enough for it to saty in place.
Then you get all of the tights ready. I called a couple of pepople that had just had babies and they measured their babies heads at about 16 1/2 so I made these about 17 inches so they would be able to wear them a little longer.

Next you will cut off the toes about a half inch to an inch or so and hot glue the long peice together. To hide that you will to gule the toe part around where you just glued, make sure that the toe part is glued on the inside beacuse this is where you will clip on the flowers as well. If you have big flowers it won't matter much becuase it will be hiden, but it you have small flowers or give this as a gift you want to make sure it is hidden. When you are finshed you clip on the flowers and they look like this, I think the bigger the flower the better ;)Here are all of the colors that I did. I found all of these at the Dollar Tree. There were 6 on each color and just a dollar for each color, Can't beat that right?

I have also decided that I would like to start a crafting blog. I really do not know how often I am going to update this blog, but maybe it will get me in gear and do more things. The address is cozyhomecraftin.blogspot.com please feel free to share this with anyone and if you have anything that you would like to post on here let me know and I would be happy to post it! I am just getting it up so it might be a couple of days before everything is working on it. SO check back soon, and often!
