2010 in review

This was sent to me by one of the lady's in my ward and I thought that it is someting that I should do and share with you all, enjoy and feel free to do it yourself!

1. What did you do in 2010 that you’d never done before?
I quit a very good job before I had another one lined up.
2. Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Nope! If I had I would be a toohpick right now ;) I have decided that to make one is not for me because it only lasts the first week of the year.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
My little sister Aubrey had Kaden Curtis Tocheri on October 6, 2010. (my sister-in-law had a baby Jan. 7 2011)
4. Did anyone close to you die?
My Great Uncle died, I was not close to him but my family was able to sing How Great Thou Art at the funeral, it was a wonderful experience.
5. What countries did you visit?
Um in my mind or what?? I have never visited another county (ok well Mexico but that was years ago and I don't remember much of it)
6. What would you like to have in 2011 that you didn’t have in 2010?
A little baby of my own!!
7. What dates from 2010 will be etched upon your memory, and why?
Jan. 8 2010, because that is the day that I quit the law office, and my life changed so much for the better, my marriage has grown SO much since then even though we don't have the paychecks I will be forever grateful!
8. What was your biggest achievement of this year?
I am not really sure, I have not really accomplished much this year, I guess the only thing that comes to mind is going off of my head medication. It was hard with a lot of headaches in the beginning, but it has been pretty good.
9. What was your biggest failure?
Not being able to find a sutiable job and help contribute to the bills we have.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
UM yes...where do I start. I had to get a biopsy of my leg to see what all of the bumps were all over my body, it turned out to be bug bites. I also had to have a colonoscopy, the Dr. thought that I either had cancer, or chrones turns out that I have neither. I had a problem with my eye and had to get that checked out. And I also went into the ER becuase we thought there was a problem with my gaulbladder. Turns out that it is perfectly healthy.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
All of the Christmas and Birthday presents for other people! I LOVE to think in advance and try to get them the prefect gift!! It makes me SO happy!
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
I am really not sure about this one, I would have to think way too long and way back in the year!
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Sometimes mine, I have been so caught up with money and the things that we don't have. I am trying to be happier and know that if we pay out tithing the Lord will look out for us. It is going to be very tight for a long time, but at least we have eachother!
14. Where did most your money go?
We bout a couple of large items, we got a camera for me, a new bed cause Dan was not sleeping, a car that we traded in for, and a flat screne t.v. (now I am not saying any of these purchases were smart, most of them inpulse, but hopefully we can learn from our mistakes!)
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
My Husbands birthday, I got him lots of things that he did not know about ;)
16. What song will always remind you of 2010?
I am not sure that I can even think of one, I don't really listen to the radio. I guess that I could say Eminem and Rihanna Love the Way you Lie, I love the beat and Rihanna's part!
17. Compared to this time last year, are you: a) happier or sadder? b) thinner or fatter? c) richer or poorer?
I am very much happier! life has been tough and I am finally accepting that this is my life and I have to make the best of it! I am pretty much the same size I really have not changed sizes sine 2005, so I am thinking that something NEEDS to change ;) I am very much poorer.
18. What do you wish you’d done more of?
I wish that I would have done more service and Visiting Teaching.

being LAZY!!
20. How did you spend Christmas?
We spent Christmas morning at our own home, then went to the parents. I think this is something that we are always going to do, be with our little family every Christmas morning.
21. Did you fall in love with 2010?
Nope not at all really! It was a very hard year for both of us, we learned a lot but I don't think that I would want to spend any more time in 2010
22. What was your favorite TV program?
I only really like 2 shows Amazing Race (which I really want to be on) and Grey's Anatomy!!
23. Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year?
Um no! That is kind of a strange question! I try not to hate anyone!!
24. What was the best book you read?
Ok so the only books that I really ever read are from Rachel Ann Nunes, I can read any of her books any time. I really hate reading!! But I can always read some of her stuff!
25. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Sara Bareilles! She is amazing and he voice range is exactly the same as mine, so I love to sing along with her!
26. What did you want and get?
A new purse and wallet from my wonderful husband!! I LOVE them!!
27. What did you want and not get?
A baby to start out family....someday we will have lots!!
28. What was your favorite film of 2010?
Shoot I can't choose one, how about R.E.D. How to train your dragon, Megamind, and Despicable Me!!
29. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
UM I think that I had some sort of cake with some presents and I turned 24
30. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Me loosing lots of weight and being sexy!! ;)
31. How would you describe your personal fashion concept of 2010?
I try not to keep up with all of the fashion stuff, then you have to change your wardrobe, and that costs lots of money. I did however start to like zebra print (that is my new purse and wallet)
32. What kept you sane?
My husband!
33. What political issue stirred you the most?
I don't really keep up with politics, I don't understand it all, so I kinda just follow and vote for what my husband thinks is best!
34. Who did you miss?
Interaction with other people. Since I was not working very much I kinda just stayed home and vegged out on the couch. I should have been more active and more friendly!
35. Who was the best new person you met?
Definitely would have to say Kaden Curtis Tocheri!! He is just adorable and oh so cute!
36. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2010.
Money does NOT buy happiness. Being happy is a choice that you have to make, and if you want to be happy it can be done without lots of money and things!
37. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year.
I'll stand by you! I have been hearing that song a lot this past month and I love it. Dan has stood by me even throught the tough days and I know that the Lord was there as well!
