Candle Sticks

I saw this idea and just had to do it. They are candle sticks made out of wood posts and soup cans. I just LOVE them. The lady who did them put something different around her cans to "hide" them but I was at Roberts since they are going out of business and found these sticks for $1.75 a box. They were 75% off and I could not resist!! So I bought 3 boxes and thought they would be perfect on these candle sticks. You can still see that they are soup cans, but I still LOVE them!! Here is a picture of my shelf now that it is all decorated!! Can I just say that I LOVE it too???

On a side note.....Dan and I went to his school scholarship dinner on Thursday and we thought he was getting 2, BUT he got 3!! We are very grateful for that!! Today was my 2nd day at work but really my first, yesterday was all training with a big group of people that are not in the same department as me. So it was a big training on the company, just to get to know what the company is about. Today I actually got to work and do my job. It is a lot of fun and the people that I work around are tonz of fun as well. I am the only person that has an office....it is a corner office!! Really it is just in the corner but it is an office and everyone else even the supervisers have a cubical!! So that is a lot of fun! Now I just have to dress it up and make it mine! :D More to come later I am sure!! The only thing that I am sure that I am not gonna like is the being there at 7 A.M. thing!!
