Updates

 This is a little late, this is me at 30 weeks.

This was taken today and I am 31 1/2 weeks. We went in about a week ago becuase I found a coupon for a free session and print of some pictures at Sears. So we got them done and will be able to pick them up on Monday the 19th. I can not wait to see how they turned out!!

It is very fun to have a little one in my belly. He is starting to move even more while I am awake, he usually starts to move a lot when I am getting ready for bed which makes me kinda sad, cause I want him to sleep during the night and not during the day when he comes. That might kinda really suck!! It is fun pretty much every time I am on my computer Crew thinks it is funny to start kicking it. It makes me laugh everytime he does it. I am also starting to get cankles and really fat feet. I have maybe 2 pairs of shoes that still fit and one of them has the toes cut out which kinda sucks in the middle of the winter ;)

Well it will be a week since Dan's surgery tomorrow. It has been very rough on him, he has had MAYBE 10 hours of sleep in a week and is not getting much more. He is just so sore and wakes up because his throat is so dry. He went in yesterday and got the packing and the splints removed. It was a hellish ordeal! He was bleeding a lot and throwing up a lot of blood. He even got it all over his shirt (which came out!) He was very close to passing out bit made it through. Since he could not stop bleeding once he clotted up the Dr. said that he was going to stop suctioning and have him come back to get it all done. We went into the hospital lastnight to get an iv because he was so dehydrated. The Dr. wanted us to come to his office today incase he needed to get another iv. Well we went into his office today and he said that we did not need to get an iv unless Dan felt he needed it. I was a great little nurse and took out the iv in his hand today! It was kinda fun! While we were at the Dr. he finished suctioning his nose whick kinda sucked again. BUT he got all of the blood clots and stuff out and now he is able to breathe out of his nose! He even got the ok to lay all they way down if he wants to and feels up to it. He also said that Dan looks very good and the recovery is going good. Dan still feels like crap a lot of the day, but that is to be expected. He seems to be doing a lot better than yesterday. We just need to find out how to get his throat from swelling and how to get him some sleep!!

I also found out some more info on the surgery. I had some info wrong. I thought that when Dan got his palet shaved that it was the hangy down thing. TOTALLY not right, the palet is the top of the mouth and the hangy down thing is the uvula. So all in all he he had surgery on his deviated septum, his tonsils taken out, the palet was shaved, and they removed his uvula. They burned the uvula and the Dr. said that it is like having a 2nd to 3rd digree burn in this throat.

Well we are still hoping for a quick and speedy recovery. I think that as long as he could get at least 5 or so hours of sleep a day then he would feel better and recover faster. I will keep you all updated! And I hope that the updates are good news instead of bad.
