Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Well Christmas has come and gone. It was a lot of fun this year. Dan and I decided that we did not need or really want anything so we did not really buy presents. We ended up getting 3 card/dice games and they are lots of fun.

We spent time with Dan's family and were able to see 2 brothers and 1 sister. It was a lot of fun to have them here and be able to spend time with family.

We spent some time at my parents as well and for the first time in a LONG time the entire family was there all in 1 house. It was a blast, and we were able to meet little McKinley! HOW cute is she?? I can not wait for our little bugger! He just seems like he is taking SO long to get here. (6 weeks left!!!) Dad and Mom gave Dan a $25 gift card to Best Buy and he ended up getting a movie for him and a CD for me. He is just SO cute I still think that he should have gotten more for him but he just said "I got it cause I love you" Man do I love him!! I ended up getting a $25 gift card to Home Depot for paint for Crew's room. I was debating weather or not to paint cause it just costs so darn much. I had finally settled on not painting and was ok with that. THEN I got this amazing gift card! I am glad that we ended up getting it cause I am SO in love with the color. We have been painting for 3 days and the last coat will go on tomorrow and we will be done!!! I can't wait to get all of the stuff hung up and ready to go!! Thanks Dad and Mom!

Dans brother Jon and his family had us for Chirstmas and they gave us a date year pack. There is something to open up for every month next year. This is such a cool idea but evil at the same time!! I have NO patience at all, so this is gonna be tought! My sister Aubery and her family also had us. They gave us some really cute pop corn things and treats for a movie night!! LOVE it. We even still have most the the treats!

All in all I would have to say that this year just did not really phase me. It really did not seem like Christmas even when we opened presents. Lets just hope that next year will be lots more fun with a little one!

As for New Years, we are probably just gonna stay home and paly games or watch a movie or something. We are kinda boring, and Mom just had surgery on her elbow, SO I am thinking that she might not want to stay up too late!

This next year I am wanting to be healthier for my little one and for myself. I need to change eating habbits and exercise more. I know that this is something that I say just about every year, but this next year I will have someone watching my every move and I can't expect him to eat and do things if I am not willing to.
